Privacy Policy

How this site handles information about you

Effective: April 14, 2026

Who we are

Greenbaum Labs is a structural diagnostic practice operated by Justin R. Greenbaum, based in New Jersey, United States. This policy describes how greenbaumlabs.com and its subpages handle information about visitors.

What this site collects

Server logs

Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically logs IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamp when you request a page. These logs are retained per Vercel's standard policy and are used only for security and debugging.

Microsoft Clarity (behavioral analytics)

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors navigate the site. Clarity records session interactions — clicks, scrolls, cursor movements — and aggregates them into heatmaps and insights. Clarity sets first-party cookies (_clck, _clsk) and uses browser local storage. Data is processed by Microsoft under their privacy terms. Clarity honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track signals, and retains data for up to one year.

Google Fonts (font delivery)

Font files are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com. When your browser fetches fonts, Google receives the request metadata (IP, user agent). We do not control this logging. See Google's Fonts privacy FAQ.

What this site does not collect

  • No accounts, no logins, no passwords
  • No form submissions — contact is by email only
  • No payment information
  • No personally identifiable information that you do not voluntarily provide by email
  • No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking of any kind

Third parties

Cookies and similar technologies

Our analytics provider, Microsoft Clarity, uses first-party cookies and local storage. We do not set our own cookies, and we do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. To disable Clarity, enable Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, or block clarity.ms at the network level.

Your rights

You can request any of the following by emailing justin@greenbaumlabs.com:

  • Access — what information we have that could identify you
  • Deletion — removal of your data from Clarity and server logs to the extent technically possible
  • Correction — correction of any inaccurate personal information
  • Portability — export of your data in a machine-readable format, where applicable
  • Objection — opt-out of analytics collection

These rights are available to all visitors. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), the European Union and UK (GDPR), and other jurisdictions with specific privacy laws have the same rights plus any additional rights granted under local law.

Accessibility and assistive technology

If you use assistive technology and would like your session data excluded from Clarity recordings, or if you want any data Clarity has collected about your session deleted, email justin@greenbaumlabs.com with your approximate visit time and we will purge the matching records. We treat assistive-technology users on equal terms with all other visitors under Title III of the ADA.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, email justin@greenbaumlabs.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date above will update and the change will be described on this page. Material changes will be summarized at the top of this page for 30 days after publication.
